Cellulite Treatment
You’re not alone. In fact, 80% of adult women are affected by cellulite. Yet today, it’s easier than ever to do something about cellulite and dimpling. That’s because a non-invasive cosmetic laser treatment can now greatly improve the appearance of cellulite-affected skin. Plus, with regular maintenance treatments, it will continue to look firmer, smoother and healthier than it has in years.
CT CosMedic is proud to announce the addition of the TriActive™ Laser Dermology system to our list of cosmetic services. The TriActive™ system uses low power laser coupled with massage and cooling to smooth out the appearance of cellulite, while at the same time improving circulation, promoting lymphatic drainage, and relaxing tired and aching muscles.
Treatments are painless, perfectly safe for just about anyone, and have no side effects and no down time. Treatments can be done on the face, body, or both. We also use the TriActive™ system as an adjunct to Smartlipo™ and Vaser™ Bodysculpting procedures. TriActive™ treatments both before and after liposculpture can make the procedure easier and the healing post-operatively even quicker.
Benefits of the TriActive™ System include:
Frequently Asked Questions
What causes cellulite?
Cellulite is fat trapped by a network of connective fibers. As fat deposits accumulate within the structure of this tissue, a dimpling effect is seen.
How does laser treatment work?
Laser diodes penetrate skin tissue, and together with the massaging action it smoothes out the cellulite-affected areas and improves microcirculation. This in turn increases skin elasticity and promotes a tighter appearance.
What parts of the body can be treated?
This laser treatment can be performed on cellulite-prone areas like the thighs, buttocks, "love handles", and stomach. It can also refresh tissue and uncover softer, more radiant skin around the face, neck, and arms.
Is it painful?
On the contrary, this is a pleasant, non-surgical procedure which feels similar to a therapeutic massage.
How many treatments are required?
Typically, treatments are recommended twice a week for 8 weeks, meaning a total of 16 treatments over 2 months. Maintenance treatments approximately once a month are recommended afterward, in order to enhance the outcome. Factors such as age, treatment area, and overall fitness level should also be taken into account.
Does it complement liposculpture?
Yes! Because liposculpture procedures normally result in some post-operative fluid retention and skin laxity, TriActive™ treatment is recommended after surgery to accelerate the tightening of the treated areas. Treatment prior to surgery may also have added benefits.
